HuRoC prototypes the everyday scenes of a future where humans and robots coexist naturally.

Building the future, from society itself.
Who do robots belong to?
Owned by a specific company,
running on a specific factory floor —
that cannot be the only future for robots.
Just as a public square belongs to everyone in town,
robots, too, can be something society uses, raises, and continues to question together.
HuRoC calls that possibility “Useware.”
It is the design of how we use, accept,
and live alongside robots —
in other words, the design of usage itself.
In Ota City, developers, designers, manufacturers,
universities, government, and shopping streets
stand on the same field.
Create.
Test.
Show.
A loop, repeated a little at a time.
HuRoC is an effort to actually prototype a future of human–humanoid coexistence in the real world, and make it take root.
